π₯ How to Use Ultimate Events
You received a link to a game. Here's everything you need to know.
π Viewing a Game
- Clicking the link you were sent brings you directly to the game details β date, time, location, and any notes from the organizer.
- Tap the π location link to open it directly in Google Maps for directions.
- You will also see the β
Expected Weather Conditions for the game time (if the organizer pasted a map URL when creating the event, and the game is within the next 16 days). It will warn you if it's going to rain or be very cold!
- The event card shows a status badge so you can tell at a glance: π’ Game On = enough players confirmed Β· π Need X More = still waiting on players Β· π‘ Full = waitlist active. No badge = no min/max set.
- If a minimum player count is set, you'll see a banner showing whether the game is confirmed or still waiting on more players.
- Use the π
Google Calendar or π Apple / Outlook buttons to add the game to your calendar with one tap.
β
RSVPing
- Enter your name and email in the RSVP form, then tap Yes, No, or Maybe.
- The site remembers your name and email next time you visit any event link, so you won't have to retype them.
- You can change your RSVP at any time before the event date β just visit the same link and submit again with a different status.
- If the game is full, RSVPing Yes puts you on a Waiting list. You'll be automatically moved to Yes if someone drops out.
π¬ Leaving a Note
- Use the Quick Note field to leave a message for the organizer β "Running 5 minutes late", "Bringing a friend", etc.
- Your note shows up in the player list next to your name.
ποΈ Removing Your RSVP
- Changed your mind and don't want to show as No? Click ποΈ Remove My RSVP to wipe your response entirely from the list.
- If you were Yes and the game has a max, removing yourself will automatically promote the first person on the Waiting list.
